Studio Toujours small batch process of making polymer clay earrings

Every piece of jewelry at Studio Toujours has at least one component made from start to finish entirely by hand. From the bringing the design to life through clay formation, to hand drilling each hole, to sanding each piece with multiple grades of of sandpaper, every piece is made with a keen eye for detail and a high bar for quality to achieve the perfect finish.

WHAT DOES SMALL-BATCH MEAN?

Small-batch refers to the number of pieces produced during each production cycle. Keeping the production sets limited each time is a way to ensure a high bar for the quality and integrity of the designs. Each batch is limited to 5-10 sets.

Because of the handmade nature of each piece, please allow for potential variation of colors and textures that can be caused during the clay curing process.

ARE THE EARRING POSTS HYPOALLERGENIC?

We take pride in using high quality earring components in every piece at Studio Toujours. All earring posts are nickel-free and lead-free. As of January 2022, all of our gold earring hooks are now 14k gold filled and proudly made in the USA. The vast majority of stylized earring posts are either 14k of 18k plated yellow gold over brass, nickel-free and lead-free, and paired with silicon backings. All silver earring hooks are sterling silver plated over brass.

We cannot guarantee that the earrings are hypoallergenic for everyone as metal allergies can differ from person to person. We design with the highest quality of precious metals in an effort to be as considerate as possible with sensitive skin types in hopes that everyone can wear our earrings. With that said, you know your skin best. If you have specific metal allergies, please let us know and we can try to accommodate!
